This was a fun hike. The trailhead just at the east entrance of the tunnel. There are a couple of small parking lots and parking along the road. We were hiking around a couple of people who were very afraid of heights and they couldn't...More

This is a great short hike to do for an amazing view. The hike/walk takes about 15-20 minutes and brings you to an incredible lookout over the canyon. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Zion as it’s quick and totally worth the stop.

This is a fun hike with a little cave, a little water, a few cliffs/rails, and lots of rocks. Parking is nearly impossible in the busy seasons, and no shuttle runs to the trailhead on the east edge of the park. Park along the road...More

Short trail I stopped at on the way into the park. Beautiful views at the end of the trail. Parking is at a premium at this trailhead.

We hit this early in the morning and be prepared to fight for a parking space. It’s a bit steep in places but short. Great views, especially of the switchbacks! We saw a herd of deer near the trail head which attracted a crowd. This...More

We hiked the canyon overlook trail on our way into Zion Natl Park coming from Bryce. If you’re coming into Zion from the east using highway 9, it’s definitely a hike you ought to think about doing as it can be a real hassle trying...More

I went in late September and was not as crowded. The hike to the top is not to strenuous and the view so worth it.

Woke up early to try and catch the sunrise at Canyon Overlook Trail. It took longer than we thought to hike up but still say the sun come up and touch this gorgeous place. Shorter hike, the first 40 steps are probably the steepest of...More

We arrived at 8:30 and evidently the first round of hikers had made their way up the trail and back because we found a parking place at the trailhead. I would highly recommend this hike - the limited parking area ensures you are not with...More

I have done this hike several times but always as the sun is about to set. I believe you are facing west when you look out into the canyon from here. I just posted my review a few days ago with several pictures

You would probably encounter ice that time of year. I hiked it in early April and it was 32 degrees then. At that altitude the likelihood of ice increases. It's a must see lookout and such a beautiful hike. It was the only... More

This is a great trail however, there are some very narrow parts with steep drops. That said, sometimes there is a guardrail. Sometimes there is a bit more room to hug the side of the rock. There is a part where a bridge... More
