This was a great hike and didn't take very long. It has wonderful scenery the entire way. It would be a great place to capture a sunset.

Most people know about Angel's Landing at Zion, which is a long and dangerous trail to get to an amazing view. This trail is far less known, which is a shame. It's shorter and far less hazardous than AL, but the scenery along the way...More

We are avid hikers, so we almost skipped this quick-and-easy one, but we're glad we didn't. Other than Angel's Landing and Observation Point, this is the best view of the park.

We arrived at the park from the East entrance so we decided to hike this trail first thing. It was around 1pm on a Sunday and we were able to find parking by pulling off the side of the road (completely off the road). We...More

This trail starts from a parking lot just east of the Zion Park Tunnel. There are only about 10 spots for cars so go early. There is a bit of climbing to get to the overlook so I would rate it moderate difficulty but a...More

Physically short, easy hike with a huge payout at the end. The views along the trail and at the end are breathtaking. Be wary if you are afraid of heights, my son started it but turned back so I hiked it alone. A lot of...More

This was such an incredible hike. Steep in the beginning but there are amazing photo opportunities. The vantage point from the very top is not to be missed!

Words do not do justice to the views from this overlook. In the right light, it's post card perfect. Take a bottle of water, and go early in the morning to catch the morning light in the canyon. Take your time and you'll never forget...More

The trailhead is just east of the Tunnel as you enter Zion National Park. This trail leads to a remarkable view of the fantastic scenery to be found in Zion. We almost passed it up to go straight into the main part of the National...More

My friends and I did this hike on our way from Zion to Bryce. The hike to and from the view point took about an hour and wasn't too strenuous. It also wasn't nearly as busy as Angel's Landing which was nice. I felt more...More

This is a great trail however, there are some very narrow parts with steep drops. That said, sometimes there is a guardrail. Sometimes there is a bit more room to hug the side of the rock. There is a part where a bridge... More

The trail head is just outside the East entrance/exit of the Zion-Mt Carmel highway tunnel. There is a small lot here large enough for around 8-10 vehicles but this is often full. You can also park at the side of the road at... More

I think you can (but check with nps website) as shuttle's only cover the area north of that turning. Be warned parking at the overlook trail is very limited so get there early.
