Court of the Patriarchs is a popular landmark of towering peaks which can be seen from the canyon floor in Zion National Park. There is a convenient Zion Shuttle Stop (4) and short 2-3 minute ascending trail that leads to a viewpoint from which you will see fine views of the three major peaks and sandstone cliffs. The peaks were... More

WE stopped at the nearby pullout and walked down to the river here, messed around, enjoyed the views of the river winding around with "the patriarchs in the background. Watched wild turkeys peck around for food...and ventured onto next pullout. Nice to be able to drive our own car. Yea for off season freedoms.

This is a nice stop along the shuttle bus route in Zion. The three rock formations are each unique yet seem to go together.

The shuttle bus does a nice job to explain and allow a short time to look at this. You can also disembark the bus and look at this wonderful scene.

The Court of the Patriarchs is easily viewed from the South Campground Trail along the Virgin River. The three similar cliffs are named for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They change appearance with the sun depending on the time of day. I think they are best viewed at sunrise as they light up from the top down exposing the delicate colors... More

Less than 5 mins walk from the small car park but well worth it for the improved view of the three peaks. 15 mins will be enough but time well spent.

This has always been one of my favorites in Zion. It's beautiful to see if in different seasons and even different times. Short trail up to the paved viewpoint that's totally worth it! Good for all ages but be careful if there's ice.

Amidst the staggering beauty of Zion National Park stand these amazing edifices, lined up in natural splendor. Even on a cold and rainy day, this sight took our breath away. The colors are incredible! We'll definitely be back in nicer weather to spend some time taking this in!

Nice to walk through the Court of the Patriarchs which is a relatively quiet trail as it is rather flat and sandy but such a beautiful surrounding to enjoy this NP.

This is the 4th stop on the Zion Shuttle. It is a quick on and off to the viewing station near the shuttle stop. Beautiful view of the Patriarch rock formations.
