Amazing place. Can park the car nearby and take a swim. Not crowded. It gets really hot closer to the stream. Tranquil and unique for everyone ages.

we went twice here and everybody were enjoying the hot springs. There is a volcano nearby that keeps the water hot.

However, when we are close to the ocean, it isn't that hot.

When we are closer to the rocks, it is hotter.

Worthwhile to try. It is free!

Close to the Cousteau reserve with its magnicent sea turtles, les bains Thomas is an improptu bathing area at the point where hot springs meet the ocean. The springs are almost too hot so you'll welcome the cooling waters from the ocean as waves rush them in. Lovely place to mingle with locals

When you arrive at the parking, follow the rocky trail for a couple of minutes to take you the hot bath ( bain chaud) .
Very relaxing although easily becoming crowded during the day . A nice swim in the sea after is refreshing, although you need to be mindful of the rocks and waves crashing if you are with small kids .

On the day we were there the waves kept crashing into the pool so it was close to the temperature of the sea. On a weekday in January there was plenty of parking and the setting is pretty.

This volcanic hot spring is only located a short walk from a car park and looks like a just a part of the rocky coast. It is not until you try to set a foot into the slightly enclosed area that you realise....blimey it is hot! It was a cloudy day with a morning of hard rain when we visited. Perfect weather (only getting boiled below rather than getting grilled on top too, we thought). Even still, it was quite busy with many locals when we arrived (who were very friendly). Depending on your ability to withstand heat, either approach the hot spring from the sea whose waves give welcome relief from the hot spring or plunge straight into the hot bath. Most people could not sit in it for much more than 15-20 minutes which meant a good turnover of people. A plunge into adjoining sea was a great way to finish off. Must get one of these for Skegness.

The water was not hot! It was completely cold... So there's no reason to go there. It was very small.
