We stayed near Jiufen old street so going here, we only need to catch a bus to the Golden Waterfall bus station. It was a very small waterfall, probably the smallest I have ever (intentionally) visited. We lost interest after taking few pictures and decided to wait for the bus which came every hourly (we belatedly realized that), it was... More

Exactly what you see in the picture. Can get a bit more water than that... or less. The import point is the rocks/ boulders that are golden brown in colour due to presence of gold. Look carefully and you see lots of them. So much so that the water is not suitable for consumption without serious treatment. The downside of... More

I do not recommend a trip specifically to see this. It reminded me of an eco disaster site. The surrounding mountains are nice and the abandoned buildings nearby are interesting but you need two minutes maximum to see this.

While riding on the tourist bus we saw this through the bus window. It's nothing more than a small water flow with yellow sediments.

After our tour at Jinguashi Gold Museum on a Sunday, we took bus 891 at the bus stop just outside the museum to Gold Falls. The bus departs every half hourly on weekends. We caught the 2pm bus. You can pay by EasyCard or cash - NT$15. It is a loop bus. The same bus will come back to the... More

We stopver on the way to Keelung. Was fascinated by the fall hwo beautiful it is. The bad point is too crowded, can't stay there too long if you want to enjoy the fall quietly for too long unfortunately.

Breathtaking waterfalls and very easy to go to since it just by the road. Highly recommended. Beautiful for taking pictures. Located near the Gold Ecological Park

The gold fall is just one of the many scenic spots near the area. Nevertheless it is worth visiting as you can appreciate the amazing beauty of the nature! The minerals in the water changed the color on the rocks!!

The cascading falls is sited right beside the road . There aren't any special parking bays .They allow you to park your vehicle along the road . No hiking/climbing is allowed either. Sadly, you can't get up close to the falls because it is enclosed behind railings . But you can cross the road and view the "rusty" river flowing... More

Nice view and the transport is very convenient. It can be access via various buses from Rui Fang town or Jiu Fen every 15-20minutes.
