Definitely a sight not to miss, great views, impeccable formations, etc. Heads up the tourist shuttle bus is awful and almost 90 minutes away from Tamsui MRT use local transit instead - quicker and passes mode frequently.

The rock formations are not that great, perhaps the most interesting point is the industrial past of mining that has polluted the water, continues to discharge heavy metals and sewage, and has left a heritage of abandoned mines and mining towns, and a no-fishing area.
