Such a relaxing, beautiful day! Spent several hours checking out the museum and beach. Soft, white sand with a lot of birds and shells.

We found that they cater to motorcouches. If you have an expensive rig you are fine. It seems that everyone wants to be rude and complain about something though. Nothing like other campsite in Florida that I have been to at all!

Neat fort to visit and there are pristine beaches in the park to enjoy as well. Ample parking and clean restrooms.

Somewhat dog friendly. Just can't bring them on the beach or in any facilities/overhangs. Beautiful drive out to with the water on both sides. Great spot for a few Geocaches. Military gets free entry to park with ID card.

This is a must see historical site. Take the guided tours if possible. Walk through all the different parts of the fort. Great view of the Blue Angels' practice. Amazing place!

Civil War installation. Much larger than it looks. Self guided tours, or guides available. Worth the time!

Fort Pickens is so nice and extremely conveniently located on Pensacola between the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Pensacola Bay on the other, both are a very SHORT walk from any camp site. They have all the basic amenities, laundry, water, power, dump...More
