Superb! An incredible location! Just over 30 minutes drive from Lyon airport and you are in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards- Beaujolais Village! North - the Beaujolais Cru. South - the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorees! Fabulous location. Everything is so easily accessible by car. First day we enjoyed the Chateau, its garden and pool. Our room overlooked the garden and vines. Super comfy bed, great bathroom with shower and very tranquil. Breakfast is superb! Delicious homemade jam and honey. Second day we followed the wine route north (Fleurie, Chiroubles, Saint Lager etc). Third day south exploring the golden stone village of Oingt and surrounding castles.
A massive thank you to Sandrine and her husband who are fantastic - so welcoming and offer a wealth of information regarding the Beaujolais region, history, wines, tours and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!

Pre booking is essential.Very helpful website which is also in English.Start with a circuitous tour around the vineyards with information boards dotted along the way.
Good wine tasting with the stand out being Morgon.If you are going for a four variant tasting there is a fee.Very friendly owner with strong links to the UK wine trade.A sound introduction to south Burgundy and well worth the money.
