Kay George's Gallery is a must stop in Rarotonga. Kay is an artist who does her own sarongs with Island colors and designs.

I love Kay's work, from her screen printing on t-shirts, table runners, sarongs and silk clothing that has been individually painted. Her products are individual and have a Pacifica feel. I bought a couple of table runners, bags and a sarong to put on the end of my bed as a light weight summer throw. One visit is never enough.

Amazing range of art, photography, silks, T shirts, etc. Difficult to accurately describe the diverse range of artwork here. We purchased a piece which used photography in a unique manner. Do call in and visit and view, well worth your time.

The fact that everything in her gallery was handmade was quite unique. A New Zealander who has found her niche in Rarotonga. Well worth a visit by the lady visitors.

I don't know who wrote the other/first review of this gallery, but it sure sounded like someone with a relationship to the gallery. We have shopped in the gallery many times. It really has very little competition on Rarotonga, but having said that, the "art" for sale is not South Pacific or Cook Islands art. Its NZ "art" done by... More
