Surprisingly well stocked store. We stayed in the village and used it most days. Staff were pleasant. Recommend the butchers meat packs, sausage rolls and cakes. The only reason I’ve left off one star is the general welcome around the store. On the first day someone shouted across the road ‘in winter we can have our village back!’ and most days whilst waiting there was negative conversation about visitors to the area. You have to be thick-skinned to visit the area whilst being openly spoken about whilst you buy milk. I understand from seeing the news now it’s busier that there’s quite a problem with the village being a through road for Durdle Door, but we didn’t realise when we booked the cottage in winter the scale of the summer issues in the village. Overall whilst I’d recommend staying in a friendly village, the store itself is an excellent place to support if you’re nearby.

We wouldlike to thank Yasmin, Johnathan, Ollie and staff for being so supportive to the Village community. The efforts that you are all making is an insperation and all us villagers need to stand behind them and support them by buying their products not only now but definitely after this awful priod is behind us. Well done to you all.

Having spent a week in nearby Chaldon Herring we visited the store nearly every day for provisions. It’s stocked well with necessities and local treats (baked goods and local ales recommended) and staffed by friendly folk. Recommended

What a helpful lady staffing the shop, she was able to supply me with cake and a local map. A good selection of treats and every day items.
