Best 2 Euros spent on Lesvos Views of the harbor and island are beautiful and the history and buildings are also impressive. You get hands-on access it almost everything. Walk the top of the castle walls, discover ancient cistern, touch ancient marble columns, explore and...More

A good walk from a town of Mytilene up and over the hill to the castle! Although there is some signage it’s not really a good visit as there are no real guides to the castle which looks very uncared for and really does not...More

it is worth visiting as the place is very well preserved-a lot of cultural events-mostly concerts are held in the summer here-there is also a small forest around it, which is worth strolling and exploring-a must if you visit Mitilene

Beautiful place. Very nice view. Costs 2 e for a person. No parking close to it. You need to walk there on the hill.

We walked from the port and burned off 5000 calories. (It looked closer) Anyway, it was worth it and the view is also beautiful. We went down into the crypts and walked the site for another hour. Another young couple gave us a ride back...More
