We suggest starting in Pedrogao Pequeno and taking the ancient road/trail down to the bridege. It is 1.5 Km downhill, but is all in copplestone and has great views. This road was first done during the Roman occupation and the bridge was out of wood....More

About 5 min by car from the hotel da Montanha, you can park and have a pic-nic (even make fire) it is equipped... Go through the tunnel and walk for about 15/20 min and you'll get there...

We visited the bridge from the river, during a Kayak trip. It is pretty and nicely located. We loved it from underneath :))

The treeking route is amazingly beautifull. You can drive your car up to a 1,5 km from this location and trek from there... it's a plain and easy walk. If you take the whole route (PR2), it's a litle bit harder, but not much..

Thank rukinhas
