I love the peace and quiet of the cabins and the excellent views and all of the hummingbirds. I loved spending time with my family everyday without games, phones, or any distractions.
During the time that we where there, there was a fireban, but Rick has propane fire pits available to purchase and he lent me his tank to use while we where there.
Thank You Rick and Staff

Wow just beyond impressed with kinbasket lake resort. We got a last minute camp site right by the playground which was a hit with the kids, they loved it! The lake is just beyond gorgeous. Not the biggest fish in the lake but kids loved it and so did the adults. The waterfall was amazing to see with the canoe we rented. As for the road to get down to the resort? Its BC people what were you looking for a red carpet? As for this train it didnt bother the kids neither did us adults even at nite time the kids slept right through it. By far the BEST site in and around Golden, nothing can beat that lake view and how crystal blue it is wow!!! We will be back that's for sure. If its sanctuary you are looking for and away from silly wifi then its your place to go!

From the reservation process to the actual camping experience, everything was wonderful!! Yes, there are trains going every 20 mins or so, but you do get used to them. They are less frequent at night. It Rick takes very good care of this campground. His pride of ownership shows! Rustic but it has everything you need. A store with a very good stock of pretty much everything from snacks to bagged ice and a good selection of groceries.
Showers are hot and free! If you are looking for a place to relax, maybe do some fishing, this is it!! We will definitely be back next year!!
