Great place for walking and appreciating the wildlife. Swans, ducks Canadian Geese abundant. Riverside close by. Kingfishers have nested on/near the lake a couple of times. Splendid site.

fantastic in the summer for the children spent around four hours here took a picnic but there is a little kiosk to buy food obviously you have to keep a close eye on children because of the water

Been a regular visitor to this lake for donkeys years. Now we visit with our grandkids. Very nice and the kids love it. Dont feed the ducks bread though as its not good for them or the other wading birds.

Great little park to go and walk around, see the local bird wild life on the lake and there is a coffe shop to have a drink & snack. There is also a car park close by so good easy access for family’s with pushchairs.

The rowing boats on the main lake would need a teenager or adult to row but you see children all ages in them. On the small pond area the boats operate with pedals which turn the rudder, I think only 3 can fit in these. I... More
