We walked round from Hawksbill, quite a long way but worth it. A map would be useful as there are several side roads to be avoided. Also don’t forget a mac, it rains on Antigua, sometimes unexpectedly. It looks a bit steep at the end...More

It is easy to come by. Its not far from St. John and you can take a beach tour as well. You get a nice panorama and you can swimm to a shipwreck. It is a nice spot.

it's a hard climb to the top of the hill, and bit disappointing when you get there, but the view is magnificent. Also a nice view of bulldozers clearing away trees and vegetation along Deep Bay beach for yet another hotel development.

You need to be a mountain goat to get to the top of this ruin, but the views are fantastic from the top. Wear sensible shoes/sandals as you will struggle in flip flops.

What a fantastic site to see. Going back in time to see these old majestic forts that once defended this beautiful island.

A remote and derelict fort on top of a hill in Deep Bay. Worth going up for a look but nothing there apart from the old fort itself, or what is left of it

Nice short hike up the hill..... worth the view! You can see the sunken ship quite well from the top.

Paradise found! However be careful with your surroundings. Robberies at a gun point have been registered.

Fort Barrington is a short hike up a steep hill. There is a great view of deep bay and the nearby salt pond. The fort is fairly rudimentary, and no cannons are remaining. There are some old buildings on the site. One can enjoy the...More

I go to the beach (Deep Bay) by Fort Barrington, but it took several visits before I felt like the hike up the hill to the Fort. It was not nearly as steep as it looked and took only about 10 minutes to get to...More
