We booked via Costco  BO tours- Trek Tours

We had around 17 people and wanted a private minibus for us and BO tour agent agreed and arranged it for us. Tour length supposed to be 5 hours long and stop at old sugar mill, Viv Richards Cricket Stadium, Nelson’s Naval Yard, Shirley Point and last stop will be black pineapple farm. We also stopped for lunch at a marina restaurant ( we paid for it )

We stayed at Royalton, bus showed up at 8.30 and when we went to get into the bus, there were already 5 people already in the bus including the driver. We were kind of taken back because we wanted a private bus for us.

Shawn and Kerri are the co-owners, told us they have arranged a photographer and a video person to come along to take pictures and video us and they will give it for free. ( it over a month, did not get any pictures or video yet) We never requested it, but our crowd was kind of annoyed but later everyone was ok.

Kerri drove in a jeep ahead of us and made sure, each place is notified about our arrival. Both of explained well. They also had another guide in the bus, she was had her input. We also had beer and soft drinks during the trip

This is company was very good and the tour was well over 5 hours. I was worried, they are going to ask for more money, at the end, but they did not. They also stopped at a fruit vendor and got us custard apple, bananas and Pineapple for the entire group. They paid for it ( we covered the cost with our tips and we did not want them to spend ).

Other than the additional people showed up in the van ( they could have notified us ), the trip was excellent. I will highly recommend this group. We had a wonderful time.

We had an excellent afternoon touring the island, our stops included Betty’s Hope and Nelson’s Dockyard. Our guide was knowledgeable about the various sites that we went to as well as happy to answer all our questions about local customs and geography. We ended the afternoon with a hike from Galleon Beach up to Shirley’s Heights for a bbq dinner, live music and a great view of the sunset.

We had a fabulous island tour with Dwight, who was so knowledgeable with the history of Antigua and was able to answer all our questions. A great way to take a look around and not have to worry about car hire or GPS!
We highly recommend Trek Tours to give you an overview of this beautiful island.

Thank you so much for this awesome review. We’re happy that you had a great time seeing the island from our vantage point. Let’s do it again next time you’re here :-).

Get ready with your questions you may have on Antigua if you ever have the chance to do this tour with Khalil! So knowledgable, very good information and answers to all kind of things. Other than that, the tour was very interesting, nice sight seeing, museum, shops (unfortunately many were closed when we were there, because of no cruise ship that day docked). The lunch stop also, very tiny place, but food was very good with local dishes. Very happy with our choice with the private tour instead of the "open-jeep". Not cheap, but it worths it 100%!

My husband and I chose to have the tour around the island to get a sense of what was outside of our resort complex, including various tourist spots. As well, we wanted to get a sense of what life there was like for the local people and learn about the history.
Our guide, Shawn, was wonderful! He was a wealth of knowledge as we asked many questions over and above what the usual tourist guide would be asked. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable and he was an excellent driver, which is key in a country with narrow roads.
We would highly recommend Shawn and his tour!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review Ron and Janice. It is heartwarming to know that we were able to make your stay on the island that much more memorable. We do hope you visit again so we may share more of our little bit of paradise.

My husband and I went on this private island tour. Kahlil our driver was very knowledgeable about the island. He took us to some wonderful places including Nelson’s dock yards, the English harbour, Shirley Heights and St. John’s. We were able to spend as long as we wanted at each place. The tour included a lovely outdoor lunch. Kahlil shared a lot of history about the area. Get off the resort for a day and learn more about Antigua and its people. I highly recommend this tour.

We went on this excursion from a cruise ship. We got picked up right Redcliffe Quay right outside the cruise ship port. We had an excellent time with our guide Barry. Truly one of the best ways to experience the island with the view from Signal Hill, the driving tour around the island, and the friendly guides. Would recommend to anyone!

I visited from Toronto Canada and I have to RAVE about my experience with this tour group! It was such a fun experience but also unexpectedly to me, I learned a lot about Antigua. The views along the trail were breathtaking, and for me a novice hiker the pace that they allowed for me to go at was great! If you're looking for amazing views, great company, and a little bit of a history lesson definitely book a tour :)

My boyfriend and I wanted to do something active while staying in Antigua and came across Trek Tours. Our guide, Craig picked us up from our resort and was a great guide to the top of Boggy Peak. He was super friendly, telling us about the island, making sure weren't lagging behind and pointing out any thorny trees to be cautious of. I slipped and cut my leg on one a thorny branch and he even had a first aid kit! The view was amazing and worth the major sweat to get there. I'd highly recommend Trek Tours if you are in decent shape and want to get out and trek up to a great view.

We made arrangements to hike the Middle Ground Trail from Pigeon Beach over to Fort Berkley and then through Nelsons Dockyard. This ended up being one of the best Tours we have ever done in the Caribbean! We were met at the Pier by Rick and provided with a very informative tour of the Island on our drive over to where our hike was to start. The hike itself was great! The panoramic views of the island and terrain were fantastic. Rick is an excellent guide and made sure to point out all key points of interest. He also made sure we were safe as we required his assistance on parts of this trail. What an excellent alternative to the large group tours! We will definitely do this tour again!
