Great evening with fantastic views , watching the sunset whilst listening to the steel band followed by a live group. Myself and my teenager daughter went alone and found this friendly, welcoming and safe. Locals mix with tourists , there is a bar and BBQ...More

The views are great, so it's worth a visit for that alone. We went on Sunday for the party and it was as some say a bit of a tourist trap. However we had some drinks and stayed a little later than most to enjoy...More

Although people mentioned that there is the Shirley nights event on a Sunday night, this didn't appeal to us as we were told it was overcrowded with people bussed in from the resorts and jostling for a view of the sunset. Instead we went on...More

We drove up to Shirley Heights on a Sunday evening, stopping on the way to explore the nearby ruins and cemetery. There was a lively crowd dancing, lounging on the lawn, and taking in the view. A few little booths sold maracas and other souvenirs....More

We hired a driver to show us around. It was $200 USD for the entire day which we split amongst three of us. It was the best way to tour as the driver stopped for us to beach it and snorkle and he also took us to a local... More

We visited during the day and for the Sunday evening barbeque. The gift shop was open both times, but there were far more vendors Sunday evening. Sorry, but we missed seeing the museum.
