Nelson's Dockyard is worth visiting, especially if you're getting tired of sitting on a beach. The buildings are in great shape and you can learn what it was like to be here in the 1800's when the British used this spot to repair their ships. The location is very beautiful as it is part of English Harbour and the lookout... More

The shipyard that helped the British to build their empire and sea power maintained and carefully restored. Beautifully situated in the English Harbor with museum-like labeling of historic structures at the same time but a working marina and the site of many shops and and places to eat.

This is one of the best historical naval sites in the whole Caribbean. Lovely site, great walks and views, and the museum is really interesting and is also appealing to kids. Would recommend a visit if you ever go to Antigua and the walk to the end of the sea wall is quite easy and worth the views...

We were there during the Classic sailing regatta. The atmosphere was amazing. The place is visited mostly by English and the near restaurants and environment is having the historical traces of English conquerors. Worth visiting. The only small piece of inconvenience is that there is no proper beach there, but anyway, it is a marina and can not expect such.... More

We docked at Sunsail for several days with our Moorings charter on the way from St Lucia to St Martin. Initially we anchored outside and had a quite moved evening, very congested. We then went into the harbor at English Harbour and tied up at Sunsail for two days. The staff at Sunsail could not have been more accommodating and... More

The history is great, but which such a big area and visitors there is so much more to make out if it, to keep visitors in there for a longer time, there is a restaurant outdated and not cozy, there is a terrace with artificial lawn...check how other Caribbean island facilitate those areas...long way to go.

We visited in a few hours off from the cruise ship. It is a lovely place for a quick couple of hours visit or to spend a whole day, especially if you love history. We had a walk around and then coffee/cake by the waterside. We could have spent longer but unfortunately time didn't allow for us so we didn't... More
