This gives some insight into the quite hard life the sailors and navy had on Antigua, as well as the fascinating anthropological history into the origins of the first inhabitants of the island.

An elegant piece of British Maritime history, well preserved and worth a visit. Have a drink at the bar with Admiral Nelson's portrait looking on while you're there.

Small but well done museum, worth your time to stroll through it. There is a lot of interesting information done in a simple easily understood manner. Our teenagers actually took the time to read and commented.

Excellent Museum, worth some of your time during your visit to Nelson’s Dockyard. Gives great insight into the buildings and how it was nearly 300 years ago.

The Admiral's House Museum is included in the brief tour of Nelson's Dockyard. A brief guided tour is followed by a self-paced, self-guided tour of the museum as well as other outlying buildings.

No trip to Antigua complete without visiting this museum. However, I think the Antiguans should embrace attracting more tourists in the summer months so that the area does not come across so much as a ghost town.

If you like your maritime history in particular, the museum is brilliant but everyone will find something of interest. Well preserved and organised.
