Stopped briefly by the Casibari formations along the way to Mt Hooiberg and Arikok National Park, as part of a tour of sites in Aruba that are rugged and rocky. It fit into the theme quite well. Due to the inclusion of hewn steps, climbing...More

One of favorite spots in Aruba, the Ayo Rock Formations were once considered a sacred site by the original people on the island. There are even some petroglyphs near the entrance. Pathways make the walk up to the top a little easier. Right of the...More

Such a wonderful display of rocks. Some you can climb. I felt like I was working at the quarry and was looking for Fred to jump at at any moment. This place is a great spot for pictures and to explore.

This is definitely a neat little spot if you're looking for something to do other than the beach or pool. The rocks and dessert scenery is pretty stunning. The goats hanging out on the rocks and lizards running around are also fun to see. The...More

Climb the stairs carved out of the rocks and get a wonderful view. Stroll around the area for other rock climbs. A souvenir and snack shack is across the road with pay toilets ($1) but there is a free toilet on the grounds. Not maintained...More

We stopped here while out exploring. There's a small parking lot and free parking. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and they have walkways that lead you to everything so no getting lost. It's not a very big place and easy to navigate without wondering which...More

We stopped while on a jeep tour with ABC and liked it. There are free bathrooms on site and you can get a decent view of the whole island as Aruba is very flat and the rocks get you up high enough to see.

These rock formations are very interesting and offer a great view of Aruba. The steps to the top (and back down) are a little difficult to use, but are worth the trek if you are up to it. There is a lovely park area at...More

Moderately interesting natural attraction with reasonable scenery. Looks very 'wild west' with the rock formations, cacti etc. Like many attractions in the Caribbean, health & safety leaves a bit to be desired, but if you're careful and relatively fit these rocks shouldn't cause too much...More

No fee We took a guided tour of the rock formation and other sites as well offered by our cruise ship. This is not a huge island and so there are no long distances to be traveled. I suppose that you would not need a guide... More
