This tour has it all. Water, biking, hiking and history. Loved it all. Brad and Trevor were amazing tour guides. Full of knowledge. Friendly and safety oriented. This was the highlight of our time in Bermuda.

Not well promoted, the trail has an interesting history which is well explained on signs at the St. George end of the trail, but given some of the narrow sidewalks in the village itself, the trail provides a good opportunity to see another aspect of the island while enjoying a fascinating walk.

A hidden treasure in Bermuda! This used to be an old railway track and is now a great sand/rock trail which stretches 21 miles along the island. Much of the trail is shaded with trees and has off shoots like a trail to Gibbs Lighthouse. The views are spectacular. In some places it is becoming overgrown but still worth the... More

This trail is accessible and lovely to walk along the coast of the island. You will find some garbage from others who use the trail but this is not a shock nor does it detract from the lovely trail and view as you walk. The trail is not very covered with shade though so I would recommend you use sunblock... More

We work on board a cruise ship that docked in Dockyard a few times a month so we had a few opportunities to ride this trail. From Dockyard its about 15-20 minutes of cycling to find the trail (turn left at the police station). The first time we did this we got quite lost at several points where it seemed... More

Some areas of the railway trail are awesome and are great places to get nice pictures of the island! However the central part of the trail as well as other places have grass and trees growing everywhere, blocking the trail and making it both unaesthetic and unusable. When other cyclists or people are coming down the trail you have to... More

One way to enjoy the flora and beauty of the island is traveling through the railway trail. The views are stunning. Be prepared to walk down or climb steps and see what you can not see when you take a tour. The trail takes you over bays, over roadways, through neighbourhoods, along the shore line and through some old railway... More

I booked this as a shore excursion from the cruise ship. It was listed as a nature hike on the Railway Trail. While it was that, it also took us to a number of Bermuda landmarks (Heydon Chapel, Fort Scaur, Somerset Bridge), involved an interesting boat ride (turtle sanctuary, ship wreck, fish feeding) and some time at the beach (Willow... We had a great time! Johno and Dylan were awesome tour guides and Ashley and Lawson were awesome on the boat to the bike pick up. Very informative guides. Lots of fun facts about the island and the tour up to the fort was perfect because the sun came out. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Great trail! Once you find a spot to jump on this trail you can walk most of the island. It is beautiful, full of plants and life and much safer than navigating the streets as many do not have sidewalks. We enjoyed this as a hike today and went 13k, that wasn't even half of the trail and it was... More
