If you want to get some really great shots, stop by here. There's a lot of beauty up at Fort Hamilton. It's a beautiful moat that you can explore along with underground passage ways and a beautiful wooden bridge. Fort Hamilton is on the outskirts of Hamilton, as there are no amenities, be sure to take some water especially if... More

You won't be disappointed. There are stunning views at the top of Hamilton. The lower levels of the outside reminded of a jungle. We visited after Hurricane Joaquin and regret not bringing bug spray. There were tons of mosquitoes, because it was still very wet. Watch out for the ants. They seem to love the downed palms. Not much to... More

We just returned from a wonderful cruise to Bermuda and visited Fort Hamilton among other places of interest. You don't really need a tour as everything is located within a walking distance from the ferry or a bus stop. My husband loved the fort itself and I paid more attention to the well-maintained grounds and the beautiful view! It's worth... More

We thought the upper level was well maintained and worth visiting, but some of the lower levels were very isolated and not supervised. I would not visit alone just to be safe.

My hubby & I walked up to Fort Hamilton from Victoria Park (walked up Victoria Street; crossed King Street & uphill on Happy Valley Road - Fort is on right-hand side). It was easy enough to reach with just a short distance uphill. Once you walk across a wooden bridge & through the front gates there are some useful information... More

It's a bit of a walk up to the Fort but you get rewarded with a stunning view. There are no signs about how old the Fort is, so no story to it. But it is one of the few beautiful places/historical sites that cost no entry fee and it is fun enough to make up your own story. You... More

Nice out of the tourist path place to see. Walking in the tunnels was spooky but fun. It is free and we were the only one there when we visited.
