A sight to see and hear

You walk down a set of stairs to the beach. To the right the beach is full of sea glass. It was neat to see it. We were the only ones there. I was disappointed I didn't find any unique colors.

We took a 5 minute taxi ride to this beach from the ship. To see all the sea glass is amazing and the thought of it taking 20-50 years to get it to the condition it is. If you listen carefully, it clangs together sounding like a smooth wind chime. Glad I visited this area as they will be building... More

When we first discovered this beach, it was not well known and the entire beach was covered with sea glass. Now only 25% of the beach is covered with sea glass. There is also a bit of trash and debris on the beach which has either washed ashore or been left behind. It was the first visit by my daughter... More

Reading other reviews now I wish I knew the place was a dump. It definitely looks like a dump. I`m sorry I didn`t take any pictures to show you. When i went there in front of the sign there were four black garbage bags and plastic things. You will find this beach behind the abandoned light blue buildings. You will... More

It took us all day to find this little abandoned slice of beach literally covered with sea glass. There is no sign advertising it anymore because tourists were taking too much of the sea glass apparently but if you can find it - it's definitely pretty cool to see!

This beach was a dump for the British Navy for - literally - hundreds of years. Sounds disgusting. But it's not. It's quite fantastical. The location has been downplayed, and I won't give directions to get there. If you discover this beach on your own, enjoy the acres of seaglass, and please, leave it all there except for your favourite... More

This very quiet, little cove is an extremely unique beach covered in sea glass. The small waves actually make a tinkling sound when they wash ashore, over the glass. It's lovely. Don't expect to swim here, it's not that kind of beach. Wading and rock hopping is best. The glass is sea worn, so no worries about sharp edges. It... More

This tiny little beach is a little over a mile from where the big cruise boats dock. We got here by bus and ended up walking back to the harbor in about 20 minutes. The beach was sheltered on a fairly windy day so it made for some very easy walk-in snorkeling with the kids. Some great mini reefs and... More

A hidden away "gem" of a beach. A little hard to find but that is what makes this beach so beautiful. Beautiful sea glass in a very peaceful cove.

Was on a Norwegian dawn cruise in August 2015 and took the segway tour ( not recommended for ppl over 60). While on the tour, we stopped here and I absolutely loved it. Heard before you couldnt take home a souvenir but i guess now you can, so we did. So pretty to look at and enjoy. Plenty of 'artwork'... More
