- Rebecca WEtters, Pennsylvania40 contributionsAmazing beachAbsolutely stunning beach! If you enter the beach and go to the right up over the rocks there’s the most beautiful little, private cove! It’s so calm and serine in the cove. The most beautiful and least crowded of all of the beaches we visited.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten September 26, 2023
- Kamran AToronto, Canada20 contributionsMesmerizingWarwick Long Bay Beach, with its stunning expanse of pink sand and crystal-clear waters, offers a serene escape from the bustling crowds. The beach is a hidden gem, tucked away from the more popular spots, which allows for a peaceful and intimate experience with nature. Its long stretch of shoreline is perfect for leisurely walks, and the surrounding natural beauty, with lush vegetation and dramatic rock formations, adds to the charm. The water is excellent for swimming, with gentle waves and a shallow entry that makes it family-friendly. The absence of extensive facilities adds to the beach's unspoiled feel, but it's advisable to come prepared with necessities. Overall, Warwick Long Bay Beach is a must-visit for those seeking a tranquil and picturesque beach day in Bermuda.Visited December 2023Travelled on businessWritten December 24, 2023

The vibrant pink hue of the sand and the natural beauty left me in awe, making the experience truly incredible. A delightful walk along the beach revealed a charming viewpoint at one end, where climbing a set of steps rewarded us with a postcard-worthy view. - AGW42103Bowling Green, Kentucky106 contributionsA Hidden GemI wanted to write this review because a few of the earlier reviews almost kept us from visiting. There were comments about having to dangerously climb down the side of a rocky cliff to access this beach. That simply is untrue. Our cab dropped us off on the western side of the beach. There was a short sandy path that had a minor decline to get down to the beach. It was not difficult at all. The beach had beautiful pink sand, turquoise water, and some interesting rocks. It was practically empty. Definitely add this spot to your itinerary!Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten May 29, 2024
- GLMS-NCRaleigh, North Carolina227 contributionsStunning Beach with Beautiful Water - A truly Hidden Gem. And did we mention pink sand?TRULY A HIDDEN GEM! Skip Horseshoe beach and come here. Beautiful pink sand and stunning blue water. Lots of beach and swim area and it will not be crowded like Horseshoe. Water gets deep as you walk out as opposed to some others that are pretty flat for a long way out int he water. Fun for swimming and shade if you want to cool off and not sit in the sun. HIGHLY recommend making a stop here. We could have spent all day, and we actually went back for 1/2 a day on day 2 while we were in town the beach was that good.Visited July 2024Travelled with friendsWritten July 11, 2024

The trip was a total nightmare. When we arrived at the beach the driver had to search for someone to show us where we were supposed to go because even he didn't know anything about the beach. First of all, it does not mention that you have to walk down a high, hazardous cliff which was very dangerous to get to the beach. The umbrella and chair shown in the photo are inaccurate because it ended up being a small chair with one position and a small umbrella that was staked into the sand at an angle, not upright. I paid for 8 people and there were only four chairs and 4 umbrellas. Our first clue that it was not good should have been "no reviews and no refund." Our 2nd clue should have been that there was no one else there at 1:00 pm. It's advertised as an 8 hour day which is ridiculous because there is absolutely nothing there- no bathroom or food concession. The water was very rough which, of course, cannot be controlled so no one even went into the water. The only accurate thing was the 3 bottles of rum swizzle and water. Trip Advisor should definitely remove this site from their list of trips.

This was my favourite beach in Bermuda, the views, turquoise water and blush coloured sand were beautiful. The beach is less crowded than Horseshoe Bay, probably because it has no amenities. There is a small sheltered cove to the right side which was great for snorkelling as the wave on the main beach were a little rougher.

The island is exceptionally clean with flowers everywhere. The pristine blue waters are captivating. Everyone was super friendly. We enjoyed lots of exciting water excursions. The food at our resort was superb. The island is however, very expensive. Definitely look for the all inclusive resorts. If you travel by cruise plan accordingly as it takes about 45 minutes to go from the dock yard to St George's.

This little stretch of heaven was wonderful! I wish we would have found this beach the first day. They have a nice couple selling drinks and renting chairs, if you like. We walked just around the rocks and found the most amazing little cove. Wonderful place, beautiful water! We took the cruise transport here, had to pay a little extra since he was only going to horseshoe bay. The public bus stop was just out on the road so we took that back.

Take an hour walk from Horseshoe Bay and see the beautiful hidden beaches along the way. You must be able to walk along soft sand and climb rock. Take your beach necessities and stay at your own "private" beach.

If you get dropped off by taxi, how is the walk to the beach and does it have many stairs. Asking as we will be with a traveler that can do some stairs but not allot. Thanks

It is a gradual slop down a small road and then sand. The better beach for you would be Horseshoe Bay, taxi's drop you off a lot closer to the beach area, they have a walk way to the sand/beach and have a bathroom facilities.

Is it possible to do Warwick Bay and then walk around Hamilton and be back in dockyard for 5:30 sunset catamaran excursion? we plan on catching the bus for Warwick around 8/8:30 a.m. Do you need token for bus or do they take cash? Do they have chair and umbrella rentals at Warwick? bathrooms? From what I have read, seems like you can walk the shore line from Warwick to Horseshoe. How far is it?
Written September 13, 2018
It sounds like you'll be starting from Dockyard. Go to the ferry terminal and buy a pass that makes sense to you (They can be used for both bus and ferry.) The terminal may not be open as early as you need it to be. You can pay on the bus, but the passes save you money. Be sure to get on the #7 bus to go to the South Shore beaches. The vans don't go to Warwick Long Bay, but they go to Horseshoe Bay Beach, and you could try your walk to Warwick Long Bay from there, though I don't really know how feasible that is. It should take about half an hour if it can be done. You might find an entrepreneur renting umbrellas and chairs and selling snacks at the parking lot Warwick Long Bay Beach parking lot, but there are no official services there at this time. There is a bathroom facility, but it may or may not be functional. If not, there should be a port-a-potty, So let's say you get to one or another of the South Shore beaches by 9:30 am and spend time enjoying the beach or walking until noon. At that point, get back to South Shore Road and take the #7 bus into Hamilton. Let's say you walk around Hamilton for a couple of hours. After that, take a ferry back to Dockyard. That's the fastest way back, and it's very enjoyable. A ferry leaves Hamilton for Dockyard at 3:15 pm.

Just wondering what bus you took and how far is the walk from the bus stop to the beach. Thank-you so much in advance.

Pt.2 FYI we purchased an all day bus and ferry pass for 19.00. I highly recommend that. As the next day, we decided to go back to Warwick and from the cruise ship I think it was 9.00 round trip. They charge you by how many zones you go through. I think they even have 2 day passes. great value

We have bad knees and need to know if we have to go down a steep hill to get to the beach. Thank you

How did you get there? We are taking a cruise ship and want to visit beaches each day we are there.

We stayed within walking distance but the buses run from Dockyard right past Warwick Longbay.

I cannot remember if there are toilets at the beach. The Swizzle Inn is close by and is a good place to eat. Try the Swizzle Cocktail!

I am cursing to Bermuda, I want to check out Warwick beach, what's the best way to get there? And what's the most popular way to get around the island? Walk, cab, trolley? I just don't know how much cash to carry for getting around town.
Written August 10, 2015
Best way to get around is by renting a moped. Cabs are expensive, walking is not ideal in the hot weather. Public transportation is spotty.
Written August 17, 2016
Can you walk along the beach from Horseshoe to Warwick or do you need to go up to the road? Thank you!
