A Bit of a let-down

An over-grown walk- way, across a swamp. Needs some series land-scaping. Did see color-full birds- but do not go out of your way to visit

Quite frankly it was a lot of planning to get here and then so disappointing. The highlight was seeing basking turtles. I agree with other travellers this is very neglected and I would give it a pass. We then walked across the road to the get on the Railway Trail which was delightful. We ended our walk on Kyber Pass... More

The marsh was rather underwhelming, in that wilf life was conspicuous by its absence. Like everything in Bermuda, it is quite small.

The recent recession has had some impact on the maintenance of this facility, however even at the best of times, visitors with no botanical interest might not be stimulated by their visit. There are some unique botanical situations which might not ordinarily dazzle the eyes or minds of the casual observer which consequently provides adequate opportunity for complaint.

I love nature preserves so hard to give a bad rating but.... The marsh was about 100 yards of Boardwalk, overrun with brush, looking out over nothing much. Didn't see any birds or anything in the mangrove water which was quite small. I stopped here while running the railway trail and was glad afterward I hadn't dragged my family to... More

My kids and I had a wonderful time walking the trail. It was indeed short, but the beauty of it instilled a quiet in my kids that we rarely see in their waking moments. The bird songs are truly delightful and if you are patient enough, you might get to see some of them. A true ecological gem!

Since I live around Paget marsh, I usually go down there. There is a pathway enclosed by trees (yes it is a marsh with trees!) On this pathway there are boards with info about wildlife within the marsh. However, it is very short and I wish it could go longer. #2,7,8 buses go there

Such a lovely little gem with a boardwalk to the end. Not a great distance to walk to get back to nature.
