You can't beat the panoramic view of the Island from on top of the Lighthouse! Thankfully it was a bright sunny day when i made my hike up from the Bus. The steps going up are a slog, but you can pace yourself at the...More

The view is really something to behold, and well worth the climb. It is better to do the trip earlier in the day. Historical materials are presented nicely and make a good reading while you rest between the flights of stairs.

We stopped here on a shore excursion, didn't go to the top, but there are a few good picture spots from the bottom. Cute paintings at the gift shop.

Any bus 7 or 8. It is equidistant from middle road and south beach road. I suggest south road as Henry 8ths pub is at end of road for refreshments or food.

Hi! Very few! We went on a humid, rainy day and the trek up was a little worse then it would have been if nice weather. I believe they have on-site restrooms however. Hope this helps.

It's open, although I understand there's talk of more extensive repairs in the future.
