You can access Cherry Hill via road or as we did on the St Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway which turns round here and stays c 15/20 minutes. This is plenty of time to admire the fantastic views of the east coast and take fotos.
There is parking by the side of the road and of course the usual 'street' vendors/pedlars who imho detract from the scene/ambience. It is well worth visiting for the stunning views but around 30 minutes should suffice

We had just visited the Morgan Lewis windmill and walked further up the hill to Cherry Tree Hill. It was well worth the walk up the hill as the views were magnificent of the Atlantic ocean. Here, there are a number of vendors selling their Barbadian souvenirs ranging from mugs, magnets, towels, carvings etc as well as offering you a rum punch or a fresh coconut to drink the water then eat the inside flesh of the coconut. As Cherry Hill Top belongs to St Nicholas Abbey the area has become very popular for the tourists as there is now a train running from St Nicholas Abbey to Cherry Hill Top. Whilst the train is turning around on the turntable the passengers are free to visit the stalls and take photographs of the dramatic views of the ocean.

Having had a ride on the St. Nicholas Heritage Steam Railway the train stops at Cherry Tree Hill and then returns but it stays long enough for any passengers to take photographs/videos of the countryside and most of the east coast with a view that is simply outstanding.

A few street vendors in the area...nice view from the area. Not much else. Distillery up the road, but was closed during this visit.

Stop by after going to St. Nicholas Abbey. Not worth a drive on its own. Actually, once there we were not sure if we were there. Just a 3 minute stop for us.

Cherry Tree Hill (is not a place) it is a lonely road with a magnificent view of the east coast. I recommend to be cautious when stopping on this road to take photos, keep car doors locked to prevent unwanted visitors. This is one place I would not visit alone, safety in numbers join a tour group, it has been known to be risky if in an open sided vehicle. I have visited many times without incident. A stop and enjoy the view is worth a moment on a clear day. Travel cautiously and safely.

Beautiful view of the island! Just a minute away from St. Nicholas Abbey. If you are passing by, make an effort to go see it!

Stopped up here as part of a Ted's Tour, the views are breath taking, don't miss them. Inevitably there are street vendors but not too pushy and the merchandise is reasonably priced and fairly good quality. If he's there a local will cut a fresh coconut for you, add a little rum and when you're finished cut out the flesh for you, all that for BDS $2, now that's a must.

This is a great stop. The view is the best on the island. It is free and you can stay as long as you want..

We rented a car and drove all over the island, including up to Cherry Tree Hill a couple of times - with ease. When we stopped to take pictures the one day, we had a great visit with a gentleman selling his wares. We enjoy taking these day trips in our own so we can spend as much time as we like looking around. It is only a great viewpoint, nothing else there, but very close to other activities, so you can make a day trip and cover a few attractions.
