Great beach for swimming safely as there are areas roped off. Sand has some rocks - worth using beach shoes to go into the water. Usually lovely clear water and we actually saw a turtle come up and lay her eggs at our hotel one...More

A gorgeous, long beach that I would definitely recommend visiting. If you go at the right time (between 10am-midday when I went in April) you can start off on Paynes Bay beach and walk all the way up towards Holetown, take you flipflops, but the...More

Loved walking here each morning while vacationing. The beautiful tide and calmness was refreshing. Locals nice to chat with. Will be back.

The beach is a nice stretch that fronts some higher end hotels. While there are some rocks, it is a good spot for lounging or going for a walk. There are some motorized watersports available, however it is not so much that it intrudes on...More

Paynes bay is divided into beach and rocks. If the swimming areas are marked stick to them or jet ski riders may not see you. If snorkelling make sure you borrow a float to identify you.
