As others have said if you plan on swimming from shore to where the turtles are be very aware of what is going on around you and have a bright set of flippers or bouy with you. The boat operators and local look out for you but the rental jet skiers are clueless. We sat on the beach right next... More

Water is very clean and nice place to swim. Felt very comfortable in the water and came here a lot throughout our stay at a hotel near by. If you walk up the beach there is actually places to snorkel and see some little fish if you bring the gear, you can just go where it is roped off. Very... More

A lovely sandy beach with shade entirely ruined by the incredibly dangerous morons on jet skis and motor boats who race in and around swimmers and snorkellers. It urgently needs a 200 metre exclusion zone and to enforce it. To go in the water here at the moment is to risk your life.

Lovely beach. Take your snorkel and mask to swim with turtles. Easy to get to on the publice or yellow buses.

The beach is beautiful and very clean, however the water can be quite rough and if the force of the water is fierce, there are small stones/rocks at certain points of the beach which can hurt when they hit against you. Overall, very pleased.

What a fab place to visit this beach, you can walk for miles in either direction, right up to Holetown if you like, past the likes of Sandy Lane, try and find a celeb on the beach, Wayne Rooney perhaps, or Coleen. We did actually spot Noel Gallagher the last time we were here, but didn't spot anyone this time.

Pristine beach, Cerulean colored sea...my slice of life is here. Light breezes, public beach with vendors who will rent you a chaise if you are not staying at a local hotel. The beach vendors are friendly and NOT aggressive at all.

This beach is clean and lovely. It's easy to walk along and pass restaurants and bars. My son really learned to snorkel.

Have been to this beach (just past Tamarind Cove) a few times before. A $20 taxi ride from the cruise terminal. Known locally as Blue Monkey it has been a great location. The biggest change is the dangerous antics of jet ski operators. They cruise up and down the beach front with no regard to swimmers in the water and... More
