A wonderful beach day. I visit this beach every time I return with a Cruise. Waters are clear and blue. Depends on the tides, some big rocks do wash in on high tide but are gone when tide goes out. You are escorted from the taxi to chairs/umbrellas to rent. But I did not mind, less thing to worry about.... More

We asked a security guard at the cruise terminal to recommend a beach and we were so glad we took his advice and went here. The beach beds and umbrellas were very comfortable and a good price. The buckets of beer went down very well and the food we had was excellent. The highlight of course was swimming with the... More

We found this hidden gem, by luck and a great taxi driver! It was QUIET, not crowded and simply gorgeous. Sea turtles feeding on the reef, very close to shore. We were able to get umbrellas and lounge chairs for a reasonable price. Next time we will schedule an entire day here.

This is a lovely beach area but can get a little crowded when the cruise ships come in as the beach is not very big

The beach was patrolled by armed police that didn't bother us but the rip tides were very dangerous and we didn't feel at all at ease to go into the sea

It is a good spot if you need to get back to the cruise terminal at lunch time on a Friday or Saturday as the town is to busy you can take an hour to get back from the Carlisle bay area. My only disappointment is the water is deep here and I don't swim. But there are all the... More

Limited options for food & drink but absolutely beautiful and clean. You have to deal with rocks on your way into the water...but once past a few feet...incredible.

this little beach with open air restaurant is simply amazing. order the fresh fish and chips with mushy peas for a treat. service is slow but relax and wait and have a beer. the beach gets crowded when cruise ships arrive in port but other than that it is a wonderful spot. the sand is hot, water warm and refreshing... It's expected to be asked to spend money at a beach by the locals, but this was beyond overboard. The beach is beautiful, but way too aggressive for me again.

We did an island tour with a driver for our party of 6 while we were docked in Barbados. The driver stopped at two other beaches and then this one which had been the best of three. There are typical tourist issues: beach chair rentals, umbrella rentals, jewelry for sale, being passed from driver to "beach rep" etc but a... More
