Experience a true legend; the only one in the Caribbean - the British Airways G-BOAE Concorde affectionately known as Alpha Echo. Your tour is for an approximate 45 minutes to 1 hour which includes an awe-inspiring presentation titled "Engineered for Speed" and being able to board the aircraft where they watch another presentation onboard of the in-flight experience of Concorde. Your tour guide takes you around the facility and provides you with all of the relative facts and historic features on the Alpha Echo Concorde. If you are at the airport you can take a brief walk across to the taxi stand area and enter through the side gate for easier access to the facility from there. There is no audio or video recording allowed on tour but guests are allowed to take as many photographs as possible. Guests are required to lock their bags in the lockers provided and they are also required to keep the key for their specific locker until they have completed their tour. (please note that one locker should be used per person as there are numerous lockers available for use therefore there is no need for various guests to share)

We had a few hours to spare when we reached BGI airport (15th August 2017), so we took the short walk over to the Concorde hangar. They had an area to store luggage. Although it isn't cheap, you get a full guided tour, including a...More

Great guided tour with video and interaction intro the development, life and decommissioning of Concorde and its travellers. The guides are knowledgeable and pleasant adding to the whole experience without rushing the journey. Wonderful to sit and experience everything to do with Concorde.

Visited the Concorde Experience last week while in Barbados. It was very informative and the lady showing us round knew her stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well worth a visit. Loved the tour, talk and actually being able to sit in it! Particularly liked the story about the royal family. Great stuff.

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Concorde G-BOAE took her final flight to Barbados in 2003 and this building and the whole attraction was built around her. She is clearly well tended by a highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic team who took us...More

You would do best to go to the museum early and THEN go to the nearby airport. But leave enough time.

Hi, Yes, its a guided tour. You go into the museum, watch a short video projected on the side of Concorde and are shown around the exterior of the aircraft, then you're led to a small recreation of a boarding lounge and... More
