I had the opportunity to make windsurf in Bonaire and it was a great experience thanks to the professional staff of Windsurf Place. Roger, Elvis and all the team are very gentle and professional, the boards and sails are brand new giving me the opportunity to try some new boards just launched in the market. Highly reccommended!

Had a great time talking to Elvis Martinus (one of the founders) about the early history of windsurfing in Bonaire, and his integral role in helping get the wind surfing program going for young Bonairians. If you're there, I would not only recommend the wind surf lessons (and a coffee next door), but also try to catch Elvis and learn... More

We took a break from diving and went over to Sorobon to learn to paddleboard. We were interested in lessons, which apparently unusual. They gave us a few pointers and sent us on our way. very funny. We had a blast learning to balance, and their pointers were perfect. Watch the horizon! We returned another day for more fun. my... More

A well-run establishment with plenty of equipment for all skill levels. Winds are consistent and water is clear and shallow with a sandy bottom. No water starts necessary as the runs are all within the bay. Great for learning or honing your skills. Can get crowded but dodging the beginners is fairly easy. We found the runs to get monotonous... More

This is the second time we have been to Bonaire for windsurfing. The conditions are great with the onshore wind, no swell, small windchop, tropical waters, and sand so you can sail barefoot (yippee). Right after Bonaire we stopped at Aruba and find the winds in Bonaire just much more consistent since there are no hotels or land to have... More

We took the beginner course. The instructor was good. The setting was fantastic. This is an amazing place to go windsurfing. Even if you don’t want to windsurf, it is fun to sit on the beach and watch others. This was definitely a highlight of our week in Bonaire.

We've been coming here for 14 years now, I guess we like it! First just my husband and I, then our teenage daughters (they both learned to windsurf there) and they still come with us as young adults. The fabulous wind conditions, the waist deep clear and warm Caribbean water, the protected bay- those things go without saying. The equipment... More

The beach is incredibly beautiful, the color of the water is amazing. If you are on the island don't mis it!

Not much to tell. All the wind surfers get together on this beach and surf. There was a couple of companies there. Nothing much organized and not really visitor friendly. Mostly the surfers just did their thing and you could take pictures as long as you stayed out of the way.
