This lake has a beautiful location. Still it is the flamingooes that is what we loved about the place. They are pretty close and fun to see. If you want to just stand and watch the flamingoes for a long time, we rather recommend the...More

You need to drive around to get all the best views of the flamingos at the lake. We were on a tour and were driven to a popular but small viewpoint where you can see quite a distance. Mostly single track road, and more views...More

We drove by this as we self toured the island in golf carts. The lake is large and looked shallow with signs all over not to get in the lake. At first we thought it was contaminated due to some refineries nearby - but we...More

this was part of an Island tour we took and was one of the stops on the tour. Lovely views of the lake and the flamingos are worth the visit. There is a soft drinks stand at the lake if you need some refreshment.

First we saw this on our own, and then saw it far better with OUR GUIDE HANS FROM OUTDOOR BONAIRE, with whom we spent half a day on the lovely north half of the island, where the wildlife mostly lives. This is home to a...More

We enjoyed driving past Lake Gotomeer and seeing the beautiful natural vista with the Salina and mountains. There were a few flamingos. The road has quite a few potholes so be careful.

We came upon this accidentally when looping around the island after a dive. We came up over a hill and looked down at this BEAUTIFUL lake and realized that there were flamingos everywhere! It was so pretty. We didn't have a good camera with us,...More

If you want to see flamingos in the wild, then Lake Gotomeer is where you need to go. You'll see flocks of them throughout the lake, but if you're lucky, then you'll have some that closer to the road and will be able to get...More
