Karla was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Everything about the tour was enjoyable. We recommend it highly if you would like to get the full experience of Havana in 5 hours.

Our guided tour of Havana with Karla was outstanding. Organised in the UK before we left with Erika from Strawberry Tours, the arrangements went like clockwork. We were collected in a classic car and instantly liked Karla and our driver. Throughout our journey to Havana Karla was answering our questions and giving us an insight into everyday life for Cuban people. As we walked through the stunning squares and the back streets, Karla was so knowledgeable and her vocabulary was immaculate. We were able to understand completely the amazing history of this beautiful city and the situation today. Karla is passionate and proud of her country but did not hide the challenges that Cuban people have to overcome. The Cuban spirit is indomitable. Our ride in a classic convertible to the outskirts of Havana with David was enlightening, David was instantly likeable and the best driver in Havana! A highlight for us was Revolution square and the National hotel where we enjoyed a cocktail overlooking the bay. The ride home with our original driver and the classic car was a fantastic end to a very special day. Thank you Karla to you ard your friends for providing such wonderful memories and thank you Strawberry Tours for providing such a wonderful service, this tour made our holiday in Cuba.

If it's your first time in Havana you absolutely need to enjoy this tour. It's the best way to understand and discover the city. I spent a beautiful evening walking around the city and with Shelman as guide we could better understand Havana way of living.

We had a very pleasing time during our Revolution tour in La Habana. Shelman was a lovely guide with great knowledge in history and made us very comfortable about asking any kinds of question. I would recommend it.

Best tour of Havana with Shelman. He is a an amazing guide who explained the history of the sites we visited and gave practical examples into daily life in Cuba. Shelman was very helpful in answering questions his English is very good and he is very friendly and down to earth in his mannerisms. We felt very safe with him and applaud him for his knowledge and insight into the history of Cuba.

We went on a walking tour of old Havana with Shelman, a friendly young man with a broad and deep knowledge of history due to his academic background as a historian. Shelman communicated with us in perfect English. Our tour extended beyond three hours and included all four of the main squares of old Havana. We were provided with richly detailed descriptions of many buildings and sites along the tour, along with interesting anecdotes that reveal how people lived in earlier times. Shelman tied together various elements of the tour with a theme involving the flow of water along Havana’s first water supply system. Shelman encouraged engagement in the tour by offering choices about specific areas of emphasis, allowing us to vote for our preference. The pace of the tour was leisurely, and we were encouraged to ask questions. Although the tour is free, one feels motivated to tip generously for such a valuable experience.

This tour is a very good introduction to the Cuban Revolution and we visited a community art center with some cool paintings for sale. It was fun!

What a perfect experience we had! Gollo was fantastic! We were 12 people traveling throughout Cuba and our last days in Havana were absolutely flawless due to Strawberry Team & Gollo ( our beloved guide) who made sure we were all granted our wishes ( and it was not easy cause we are picky clients :P)
We had a customised tour of Havana of 2 days where we visited the most iconic places of this marvelous city, were driven in fancy epoque cars and were delighted of all that Gollo showed and told us!
We couldn't be more happy of the service provided and we look forward in going back to Havana and the wonderful team that is waiting there !

Hola, para pagar el tour, creen que es mejor dejarles CUC, o moneda extranjera euros o dolares.
y para disfrutar la noche en la habana, es bueno hacer tour nocturno o nos recomiendan algo mas.

Prefieren en CUC y yo solo hice el tour de la Revolución y el tour de la Habana Vieja. Estoy segura que el tour de la noche debe ser genial

I am planning a solo cruise in October. I would like a vintage car tour bus would not mind sharing with 3 more on the tour. Is this possible . What would this do to costs. Also possible guide if driver cannot do both. Would like something longer than the 2 he car tour.

Hola que tal, le das lo que consideres a tu parecer que te pareciò el tour, es a voluntad, pero son guias super calificados con gran conocimiento de su ciudad y del paìs en general, yo quede muy conforme, y volverìa a realizar excurciones con ellos , làstima que los conocí en mi segunda visita a cuba.....pero no faltarà oportunidad de volver ya que quede encantada con Cuba y su gente
If my tour that I'm going to book is only 2.5 hours and the support for Cuban People rules say you need to spend 6 or more hours, do I need to book additional tours or can I just go back to the ship?

You can just go back to the ship. I would not worry about that. I’ve never seen where there is an hours requirement for how long you benefit the people. Go and enjoy!

Yes, it's walking, but in short stages. Probably a couple of hundred metres between stops at the most, so you don't really notice the distance.

Yes you can leave the tour any time you want. The starting point is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the pier so you are never very far away if you want to leave early and walk back. That said, it is a fun time and well worth hanging for a bit. We finished a short walk from the ship.

We do not allow groups of 8 or more people in our free walking tours. Instead, you can inquire about a private tour reservation. For a group of 40 I would recommend having 2 tour guides, but it will depend on the tour of your preference, of course.
