Memorable show under the palms and stars .
Visited with a tour and friends in about 1977 . Delicious supper and beautiful colourful show under the tall palms and stars . Still recall it so many years later. Had a great time ; drank Cuba Libres for years afterwards.

Brilliant night out....but a touristy thing, Havana has much more to offer
Well, the only time, apart from open air gigs when we enjoyed an evening under the stars watching a spectacle. You do have to queue for a while but it is with it....I wouldn't want to go again in a hurry but I would go a few years down the line. We were taken to seats at tables under the open skies, we were given at each table of four one bottle of Havanna rum ( ron) and four cans of coca cola. The dancing and costumes were most interesting and entertaining. Havana is a wonderfully interesting city and the Tropicana is another tourist trap, still it was worth the experience. However, make sure you visit the " proper"Havanna and all its crumbling facades and enjoy the people, there, bring soap and hygiene needs as those are needed...Havannans are wonderful people xxxx

Not to be missed in Havana
Fantastic show. We were glad not to have missed it. Great dancing and costumes, lovely girls and male dancers too. Excellent trio of male balance act. We did not have dinner, which did not look very appetizing, but we were given a bottle of rum and chaser with a bucket of ice, and nuts to nibble. Great seat at front of stage. Bought tickets downtown at San Cristobal travel agency. Quite a long taxi drive of nearly half an hour from downtown Havana. Loved every minute. Ended before midnight.

    Must See
We were staying at the Melia Cohiba and were able to book tickets to the show through a representative at the hotel. You have two options dinner and show or just the show. We opted for the show only at a total cost of $75.00 USD per person. We took a cab from the hotel and be prepared to haggle with the cab driver, we were able to get a cab for $10.00 USD. The show went for two straight hours and it was absolutely fantastic from the singers, to the dancers to the fabulous costumes. After the show we went outside to get a cab and the cabbie said $20.00 USD he was firm on the price. Then a security officer from the Tropicana came over and said you should take this cab because it’s not safe to go out on the street. We weren’t overly happy with this security officer siding with the cab driver. My girlfriend went off on the cabbie and security officer, saying they were ripping off tourists. Obviously a scam so be careful.

Good show but felt ripped of re drinks
Excellent dancing and show with beautiful colourful costumes. However the ticket was supposed to include a 1/4 bottle of rum per person, however on the night they only had whiskey! There maybe a shortage of many things in Cuba but rum is not one of them, it seemed like a ploy to try and make us buy their cocktails at a very inflated price compared to other places in Havana.

    Slightly outdated and overpriced :(
I'm afraid we felt this show is a little outdated and overpriced. We didn't feel it was typically Cuban (althoughmaybe we don't really know what authentic Cuban is). Staff at our hotel in Havana suggested the Buena Vista Social Club was a better choice but unfortunately we didn't have time to see it. The Tropicana venue is impressive but sadly we didn't feel the show matched. Staff were very nice and you get a bottle of rum included in the price. Please note this is a personal opinion and maybe others would feel differently.

Show good but food and service terrible.
The Tropicana is completely an outdoor venue but with good weather it's great. The show is fantastic but the drinks are absolutely horrible. You will not receive your little bottle of rum and 2 cans of coke until the show is about to start. So getting there early is not worth it except for the seating. The appetizer is a small, flat plate of peanuts. Purchased some alcoholic drinks but they were awful. Our server was rude.

    Great atmosphere
We went here for an evening show as a cruise excursion. Great acts and atmosphere. You sit at long tables with a bottle of rum between four people, each also receiving a can of coke as a mixer. Other drinks can be purchased.

Super show !
We ❤️ this experience. Tropicana is a unique place, you can enjoy the show under the stars. The dancers and musicians are spectacular. It's definitely a must-see if you're looking for a night of entertainment in Havana.
The food and drinks are ok.

This was pretty disappointing overall. Paid £150 for two premium seats booking direct. It took ages to get in as a Russian Coach load arrived in front of us seemingly without a booking. Finally got in two minutes before the show started and we were literally shoehorned into seats admittedly right by the stage (but too close) and a bottle of Rum and cheap coke along with a plate of peanuts plonked on the table to share withy two total strangers. Getting out to go to the loo thereafter was a real challenge as I believe the venue had 3000 people crammed in. Yes the show contains lots of people and colour but average dancing and singing that became increasingly repetitive meant we weren't sorry to leave early. Our table companions (two lovely young Aussies) left even earlier! So glad we went out in Havana Old Town earlier (Tropicana is a good 20 minute drive from the old town by the way) and wish we had stayed there and visited some more of the bars there that have dancing and smaller scale shows. Not for us I'm afraid.

This is very good show and I am glad we waited to go after learning about some of the history of Cuba this tells a really nice story. Lot of music and dancing. Beautiful costumes

We had a good time at the show. It was part of an excursion to tour Habana. I would recommend this show if you like to be entertained. They had overbooked the show but quickly accommodated us (it was valentines day) so it's understandable.

So disorganised!! Booked the tickets online! There is a sign stating there is free wifi but there isn't apart from the biggest problem with the internet in Cuba!!! They could not check on the system my purchase!!! Too overvalued!! The show is horrible, there is no theme, and the Rhum served in this place is a cheap quality!!! Some singers should be banned from singing or better choose another profession!! It is a big ripoff and a disappointment!!! The sad reality in all of Cuba!!

Excellent Show!! Amazing performers, great service....but, We wish that the company would provide their performers new costumes, they are showing their age....However being the professionals they are after a while you forget about he little holes in the panties or some ill fitting costumes because they make you appreciate the art...and their abilities....Thank you for that performance.
However, when it comes to sitting, (We were on the first row, touching the stage) I would not go for the front seats because there's so much to see that it won't be fully appreciated unless you swivel your head constantly.
Enjoy it from the second or third row, cheaper too.
