Benifitted hugely from the renovation program that has done so much to make Old Havana more acceptable to tourists. This is one place where the renovation has been a positive force and well worth a visit while strolling around Old Havana.

Walking around this plaza is nice. The locals are friendly and fun. It's a part of the history and the culture.

Having traveled to many other Carribbean islands, Havana, Cuba stands out for its incredible history, culture and architecture. Being the favored stopping point for ships to and from Spain, it became an important colony for the Spanish Crown. Much history to enjoy!

This is a beautiful tree lined park in the centre of the square. This offers shade in the heat or if a thunderstorm hits in the evening. There is the Governors residence on one side, the old fort on another and the Natural History Museum...More

Enjoyed walking around the plaza and visiting with the locals. They were all so friendly. Restaurants and shops near by.

Lots of interesting features and facts at and around this plaza. Not as popular as some of the others, so great if you don't like crowds.

Nice to visit don't skip it while your visit in Havana there are interesting thins to do nearby like renting a car for a ride.
