We had 2 days in Havana and I went twice. Our bus tour stopped on Day 1 and I enjoyed it so much, that I had to go back in a taxi on Day 2. The fantastical mosaic sculptures just made me smile. I wanted to be one of the local children that his son, Alex, teaches. The neighborhood is... More

This is definitely a place to visit. The tile work is beyond belief. Work is available for purchase. If you are lucky, you may even get to see Fuster.

What a world of imagination and creativity. All different art forms painted Farmers , mermaids, royal palm. The "Joy of Livin" is truly represented. Everywhere you turn is as beautiful as the next. A must see.

I have to admit that I had never heard of Fusterlandia or the Cuban artist Jose Fuster before I arrived. I immediately recognized the resemblance of the art and architecture to Spain's Antoni Guadi, and I wasn't surprised to learn that Fuster studied under Gaudi. Fuster's works, which are a mix of Guadi, Picaso and Disney, in his home and... More

Quirky, amazing, a fusion of Gaudi and Picasso. Would appeal to all ages and no need to be an art lover....perhaps a sense of humour would be good. Even if the gallery is not open you can enjoy the neighbourhood and little shops close by.

We arrived just before the gates to Mr. Fuster's home opened at 9:30. About 15 minutes later two busloads of tourists arrived, so get there early! It's free, but there is a donation box inside. As a huge fan of Gaudi this was a "must see". While not nearly on the scale of Gaudi's work, it is still a fun... More

It takes a village, or in this case a neighborhood, to create art so wonderful that you find beauty in every corner of the area. Well worth the visit to see the artistry.

This was such a fun place to visit. It looked like a Dr. Seuss book came to life in this town. As you enter the town, the walls/fences are all artwork-pottery and tiles painted with various pictures. You could spend hours just looking at everything. Then, you enter the main attraction of Fusterlandia! Every item is created out of tile... More

We were pleasantly surprised by Fusterlandia. The detail and size of this project was impressive. Go early before the crowds get there.

In the style of Gaudi (think Barcelona) this neighborhood is completely consumed with tile fresco's. So fun to see and there are some shops with friendly faces and I did buy a set of wooden shot glasses that were fantastic handwork.
