We went to Jose Marti's monument on a national holiday so it was closed. We could only explore the front of the monument which was impressive. I find Marti's writings very interesting and would have loved to have explored inside. But when you are facing away from Jose Marti's Monument you get an amazing view of the Plaza de la... More

Situated in the middle of the Plaza de la Revolución. Nothing particular. The Plaza itself is a must see more because of the loads of American Oldtimers and the monument a by product

Great history in this squar- a quick visit will make you appreciate how people stood to listen to Castro speak for 4-6 hours at a time. Great place for old car taxis

Part of Havana who definitely need to see more significant buildings in this place, but not so far away ... a great big market.

Every tour of Havana stops in the Square of the Revolution. The monument is right next to it but it was closed when we visited

When visiting the Plaza de la Revolucion - which most tourists will do - you can't miss it. After taking your pictures of Che and Camilo, turn around. Fidel used it to address his people, so it has historical importance.

Tons of interesting history and information in the monument and spectacular views. Unfortunately due to high winds we were not able to go to the top viewing point.

The monument and Plaza de la Revolucion are an essential stop on your tour of Havana. Castro made many of his famous speeches here and the monument is quite impressive, although the elevator may or may not be working. It wasn't the day we visited. The buildings surrounding the plaza are ugly, soviet era architecture with no redeeming fixtures, although... More

Every tour ends in the place of the revolution - worth to see. You have to pay entrance to visit the monument.
