Nice place to take photos and walk around. Many tourists are there but i couldn't find a place to buy water or anything so it's only recommended for a short stop

We stopped in a large parking lot which was surrounded by several high rise buildings & it was explained what the buildings were. This is where they gather for celebrations. I didn't quite understand why they took us here.

I've seen many pictures of the buildings around the plaza with their abstracts of Guevara and Castro and that's all there is to it. It was an opportunity to get out of the car and stretch your legs. I wouldn't go back.

The buildings are amazing as they integrate history with personalities and function. The wide-open space is for demonstrating Cuba's forces, so we were told. Feel very fortunate to have been here.

The plaza was pretty much empty except for our tour bus and several old cars. You do not need more than 10 minutes to explore the place

Wonderful photo spot. Visited in classic car tour. Many historic buildings and monuments nearby. Classic cars circle the square. There are some great sculptures surrounding the Interior building that is right across the street. We spent about 20 minutes wandering and taking pictures of classic...More

When I went here in September we hired a classic car. Nice way to do it since it is more of a drive-by kind of place in my opinion. As far as cash, CUC is the only way to go. I had 500 Euro from a previous trip which made... More
