You may have to wait a bit but once you enter this chocolate-lover's heaven, you'll soon forget that you waited in line for 45 minutes or more. If you stop here on your last day in Havana, pick up some chocolate treats for your friends...More

This place is amazing. We ordered the Cold Chocolate to drink. It was $1.00 Cuc's. There is also a Churro Vendor that sits outside. If you like chocolate this place is for you!!!

In a country where you find very few sweet snacks, especially chocolate, it will tempt you to join the long queue outside this artisan chocolate shop, don't expect to find a museum. The chocolate is ok, but in hindsight it probably wasn't worth queueing for.

The museum looked great and smelled great. I decided to get a chocolate cigar and a small chocolate filled with almond. This was some of the worst chocolate I have ever eaten. It was extremely low quality and I ended up throwing it out. I...More

To be fair, "museo" is loosely used here - although they do display a number of artifacts and some explanation of chocolate processing, it is in the setting of a cafe / candy store. The candy is excellent, as is the cafe, although the food...More

This is a cafe and not really a museum. It is great on a hot humid day as the air con is great, since the chocolates need to be kept at low temperatures :) The chocolate is alright, not great, but remember where you are....More

was interested in tasting the chocolate as I had heard it was supposed to be great. The store was very small and you have a hard time getting in. The counter ladies were not very hospitable and they were out of many of the choices....More

This is a terrific little cafe. But the churros from the guy who makes them just outside and take them in (the cafe owns the churro stand and churros and hot chocolate go together, as my cuban husband tells me). Have a syruppy hote chocolate...More

It was pouring rain when we were in Old Havana. I was drenched and remembered seeing a reference to the Chocolat Museum and a mention of their chocolate milk. I left the family on a piazza and struck out on my own. I was too...More

No, it is not a museum. Just a few posters around the walls and some chocolate being mixed and then put into moulds. All the drinks are chocolate based and I thought good, made a change from alcohol and coffee.
