You pay 10 CUC's to get in with a group of about 40 people. Tour guide couldn't be heard and he gave about a 15 minute presentation. Great to see all the rollers, 90 percent which were females. This place is under renovations so they have moved it to a new site. The Partgas Cigar Factory tour was much better... More

The tour price is 10 CUC. For that you get about 10 minute "tour": guide spends 5 minutes talking about cigars in general, then you visit the working area and get to watch torcedores rolling the cigars for another 5 minutes and the tour ends. Afterwards you will invariably be secretly offered to buy some cigars (not sure, if counterfeit... More

Several folks have posted there are not tours available. However, there are tours, but they can be tough to figure out how to get tickets. I was given directions on where to go, but I couldn't find the place; a peddle cab driver gave me a ride to a shopping center, and then led me up to a government run... More

This is a beautiful building, and the interior of the cigar shop is stunning. But we were disappointed that there are no tours and that they don't make cigars here anymore. Also, the shop is air-conditioned - so it made for a welcome respite from the heat and humidity. Cigar prices are surprisingly high. We ended up only buying a... More

NOTE: You can't just show up here. You must buy tickets at an official state tour agency. Usually found in most hotel lobbies. THEY DO NOT SELL TICKETS AT FACTORY. This place is a legitimate cigar factory but it is so packed with tourists its hard to get a sense for how it works. It's also really hot. We waited... More

I am glad I saw the building - it is rather attractive. It is easy to find behind the capital. It no longer is the place of tours (those are a taxi ride away). There is a cigar sales shop inside. So - you can (will) see it from Old Havana, the Capital area. No reason to go in unless... More

Featured in the cover pic is the OLD FACTORY BUILDING. Cool to visit, but not where the tour is or where cigars are made any longer. In order to visit the new building, first go get tickets at Hotel Saratoga (near the Capitol -- downstairs in the room to the right of the entrance). And then take a less than... More

There are two Partagas Cigar Factory buildings. The original, historical building is now just a museum but you can also go to the current factory nearby for a tour of the working factory. They make thousands of cigars each day and it was amazing to watch them work. It's truly an art!

I was here late January and they were no longer offering tours, and production of actual cigars had moved out of downtown Havana. They have a nice store selling Authentic Cuban cigars which are still fairly pricey. You can buy knock off Cuban cigars in Havana rolled by locals and will fool your friends for $40CUC for 25 Cohiba Cigars.... More
