Took a horse and buggy and it's about a 30-40 minute ride. Awesome for swimming and snorkeling. Very quiet and relaxing. Had lunch at local house. We got horse and buggy and lobster lunch for $20!

They try to entertain you, but the meal is over-rated. Cheaper lobster & rice pudding, without raisins even, for dessert! Take your own toilet paper, as none provided.

However, the sand was beautiful, and the people working the beachside bars were fun. I walked to several and enjoyed a cold beer with the locals. We did have a good meal, but I dont remember the name of the resturant. ( sorry!)

Bicycled to the beach for 10ish km and it was really worth it! Spent the whole afternoon there and the resto on the beach was delicious!

You ca get a buggy ride for 20 pesos to Coco beach. This is a very pretty spot where you can see the sunset. It's only 7 kilometers from the resort.

We enjoyed the beautiful beach, there was music playing from the beachside restaurant, lifeguards and plenty of palm trees for shade. There were local vendors with tables set up selling touristy arts and crafts. It was better swimming than available in front of our hotel as...More

Camaguey airport is nearest to Club amigo. The airport in Havana is far away, it may take half a day to get to Playa santa lucia by car from havana.
