We came here on our last day and just sat back in the sun and enjoyed the best pina colada I've ever had. Definitely a place you have to stroll through if you visit Varadero. Very tranquil and they have a small pond/lake where you can take out a pedal boat and float around. Highly recommend.

Very nice park, beware if you need the washroom it's hidden way around behind the restaurant at the edge of the parking lot and is very creepy. There is a man at the entrance with the doors locked and wants a 1.00 to use the bathroom. I refused to pay for what should be free and he called me back... More

Great park with a boating lake, 4 good restaurants and 2 bars. Well worth spending an hour or 2 here.

There is a great little bar really close to the water that serves the best Pina Colada. You can also rent paddle boats and it's a very nice place to take a leisurely walk and take pictures

There is almost nothing to see or do in Varadero except snoozing on the beach. But you can easily spend an hour or two in Parque Josone, the area's charming green lung. Stroll around, relax on a bench in the shadow, watch life (birds and funny looking tourists) pass by, pedal the lake on the water cycles, try a wine... More

This was an interesting find as we walked Varadero main street having alighted from the open top double deck bus. Entrance is free. The lake is large and has pedalos and row boats that you can hire - a bit pricey though at 5 CUC per hour - or you can just walk and enjoy the larger garden area behind,... More

This park was the former house of Batista. It has a restaurant and bar where you can go to grab something to drink and eat. Is pretty big and there is a lake that you can go through it on a beautiful long bridge.
