As cruisers and marine consultants anything maritime is of interest and this museum didn't disappoint us. Well worth an hour or 2 to wander around and enjoy the well-presented exhibits.

Small fee paid at the entrance. Quaint, with a lot to read. The most interesting part of the museum was the building.

I love history and this place has Curacao's story from the beginning, recommended the 20 min presentation first to give you some background.

Something to do while in Willemstad. Admission was cheap. Learned a lot about Curacao history through the video at the back. Would be especially interesting for those interested in history, sailing, and ships.

The top floor is hot and stuffy. Start with the informative video. Then work your way down from the top. No spoilers, but do check out the history of the figurehead hanging on the wall
