Visited Riffort with another couple and we had a great evening. After dinner we took a 15 minute cab ride to the Fort. We enjoyed a nice ice cream while we listened to live music. We then order a few drinks to cap off the night. The Fort was safe and the washrooms were clean. I must visit in curaçao

This area is across the bridge in Otrabanda. There are many shops here and places to eat. There is also a parking garage that makes visiting very convenient.

It was located next to our hotel (Renaissance) and we enjoyed various meals in the different venues and all were delicious. Over the weekends there are live music acts and dancing which was most enjoyable.

Many restaurants and cafes offer a wide variety of good eats and beverages. Lots of variety to the shops available as well. I visited 2 years ago and the Riffort seems to have gone a little more "high end" on some of the stores and prices, which is too bad. It's a great place to visit, but prices are definitely... More

Definitely has a touristy feel. Right near hotel and cruise ship landings. Nice collection of shops and restaurants. Some nightly entertainment. Restaurants offer wide price ranges so good for all budgets.

The walls of the old fort enclose a modern series of tourist restaurants and shops for cruise passengers. Good view of the harbour from the ramparts. Stairs are steep and without handrails....not for the elderly of mobility challenged.

A nice clean and safe area. Good for shopping, but can be fairly expensive. Top brand labels. Cafe and ice-cream shops near by to relax in if the shopping gets too much.

There actually was a fort here, built in 1828, and traces of which are clearly visible all around you ibn the form of thick walls, low arches, and crenellations. To-day it has been integrated with both the Renaissance Curacao Resort and the very upmarket Curacao Mall, offering everything from, gambling to fine dining to upscale retailers including a quite wonderful... Little square with restaurants, bars and shopping. Some nights they have live music. Souvenir shops a bit more pricey--try walking over to main street

Nice to see the fort but the shops inside cater to the cruise ship people and goods can be bought cheaper elsewhere
