The building was a former hospital. The carillion bells were a good feature along with the floor vents to keep the building cool. The kitchen had large dots to deter the flies. There was a small display of furniture and an old plane cockpit in...More

This is an interesting property with Dutch history shown in the furniture, household items and paintings. There is an out building with an airplane used for mail carrier. The most interesting was the organ and the bells. Large part of that need restoration.

$12 to get in and i didn't learn a whole lot about Curacao. Lots of furniture and paintings. I guess i was looking forward to learning about the history of Curacao and not what their furniture looked like.

Nice museum. There were some paintings and sample rooms. The most interesting part for me was that they had the airplane that made the first mail delivery to Curacao. Don't miss out on that. It is not in the main house but in one of...More

Enjoy the history of Curacao with surprising pieces of furniture and art, a museum worth seeing in combination with the Maritime Museum and the Synagogue.
