We took a cruise and one of our stops was Dominica. There's a lot to do on this island but we narrowed it down to the Emerald Pool followed by a river tubing down the Layou River. This was booked through the cruise line but you can go on line and find outfitters to take you down. I go tubing... More

The rivers including this one were gorgeous with lots of activities and being this close to the equator, no fear of poisonous snakes or other dangerous things in the waters there, so it was like Eden.

The Indian River Boat-Tour is absolutely great, don't miss to take enough photos and enjoy more than one rum-Punch variety at the romantic bar.

It was a hike to the top of the mountain.. And should be part of the adventure on Trip advisor.. Crazy ride.
