We walked through the botanical gardens then hiked up to Morne Bruce. There's not much to see in the botanical gardens by themselves.

A plethora of tropical plants and the two types of parrots make this a must visit place .if there is a cricket match ongoing would be a nice afternoon out.

The Botanical Gardens was one of the destinations on our tour we went on. It was very peaceful and uncrowded. I personally loved it that way and enjoyed the little bamboo house the most. Learnt it was a romantic place for many couples too.

Interesting and beautiful location with a good variety of plant life. Some types of plants are endemic to Dominica. The island is so lush and bursting with life that it feels like you never leave a botanical garden paradise.

The botanic gardens are an oasis on the outskirts of the capital city Roseau. It showcases the national parrot and a remnant of the damage done by hurricane David in 1979. One must visit this place

If you have some time to kill while in the capital city, be sure to check out the botanical gardens. My favorite part is the bus that is crushed by a tree.

This was mainly trees not flowers. But the trees were interesting because they were native to this island. Also saw a couple of parrots. Hurricane Ivan have devastated some of the trees and one had fallen on a bus. Luckily no one was in the...More
