I went to visit this museum before and went back to take my 10 years old son. I love all the history behind and the architecture is amazing.

Lots of exhibits from variety of countries that contributed funds to the building. Would be more interested to learn about Columbus and Dominican Republic than other countries though.

This is a must see for visitors to Santo Domingo. Lots of priceless historical artifacts from several countries and of course the burial place for Columbus.

We went to see this monument simply because it is a must to see, could not miss it! Although it is disputed by two countries (Seville Spain and S.Domingo Dominican Rep), which of them actually have Columbus remains, it is worth to be there anyway. Structure is gigantic! We have been there before noon, haven't seen light coming out of... More

The monument inside has the grave of C. Columbus and pavilions of many countries around the world. The entrance is 50 RD$ that is around $1. There is not much around that area

This is one of the must sees if you go there because this is where Columbus is buried and it a tribute to all the islands in the America's. I found it to be very interesting and the views of the city is amazing. You can see it from other parts of the city

Interesting visit through the history of many countries around the world, I'm not sure what relevance to DR, with photos and artifacts. I did find many of the American artifacts to be representational, though not sure they were authentic. A huge structure, and I would argue its place.

This is a memorial to Christopher Columbus. At night lights are projected from the top in the form of a cross. The chapel may have the bones of Columbus but other places have similar claims.
