Very small museum visited as part of tour. Guide was informative but like many places it took just 10 mins to go round then left in shop for over 30mins.

We stopped here as part of our tour of Puerto Plata. The amber presentation was interesting. The shop has maber pieces as well as larimar. We purchased a beautiful larimar bracelet for a very reasonable price.

It was very cool to learn about Amber and see inspected and leaves set in this beautiful material. We enjoy learning things particular to the country we are visiting.

We went to the Amber Museum on our City Tour of Puerto Plata. It was very dark, but better when our eyes adjusted. Neat to see how cigars are rolled also!

We went as part of the city tour. The tour was pretty good, although my partner felt there should have been less shopping and more sights. I thought the shopping was fun. The amber museum is kind of cool, but not all that big. Nice stop on the tour though.

This is part of city tour and is combined with the cigar factory, nice to visit. You can buy cigars and jewellery.

Museum was free of charge. It took only ten minutes to go through the museum and the quide expected to get some tip, of course.
