I went with a large group of people and I have to say, I had a great time. We traveled through the sugarcane fields in buggies and through parts of a local town or two. I really enjoyed seeing how people live and would recommend this excursion to others. Some things I think you should know about this excursion: Safety... More

My family decided on this as one of our excursions while staying at Dreams, La Romana. I thought it was amazing, but probably not for everyone...it's rugged, bumpy, and very dirty! Our tour guide was very impressive...spoke 5 languages...and all of the employees were kind and accommodating. We rode dune buggies through dirt roads, villages, and sugar cane fields. It's... More

Our family signed up for the buggies when looking for an outing in La Romana. It turned out to be a great decision to select Crazy Wheels. We reserved the buggies through Amstar at our resort. They picked us up at our hotel at the promised time and it was only a short drive from Dreams La Romana. After a... More

The quads wher Okey but the buggy felt like they wher falling apart one buggy dident make it. The speed was slow almost the entire trip and the maximum was 45kph worst of all wher to be picked up first and to be the last ones of the bus.

Our family(my husband and I and our two sons ages 12) had a blast. Easy to drive and well worth the money. We spent over two hours on a combination of ATV and dune buggies. We enjoyed both. Do bring sunglasses to keep your eyes protected, bandanas to cover your mouth and old clothes and sneakers because you WILL get... More

We were outfitted with helmets, goggles, and a buggy. About twenty of us headed out on our own buggies for 3 hours of mud covering us from head to toe. The mud was everywhere and immediately covered the goggles making it almost impossible to see. No windshield, just relentless mud! We had on rain jackets and rain pants which protected... More

Definitely adventurous and allows you to get off the resort to see some of the city. We got dirty but that was the fun part :)

Picked up from the Hotel at 8 am. Driven to their location. Instructed on go cart (buggie) handling and safety. Driven through a local town to a sugar cane field. (given drinks for refreshment). Tasted Sugar cane (it was deleicious). Given a good background of field workers and land history. Then drove to our second stop. A store which sold... More
